Welcome to our jewelry making community: imagine, create, share, & inspire!

Ooh boy, I have been way too busy and still have not posted my latest jewelry projects. Here are a couple photos of my friend wearing some of the wedding jewelry I made for her wedding.

Smoky Topaz, Freshwater Pearl and Brass Pendant (I wore this one as bridesmaid, as my dress was chocolate brown, but she is modeling it here).

Created with:

I found vintage brass findings/stampings on eBay. That served as the focal for my pendant. Using wire wrapped beads, I added two strands of topaz and crystal beads to surround the focal and add more design interest. I then used beading wire and strung two strands of small copper/brown freshwater pearls to either side.

My Inspiration: Autumn colors, and a vintage sense of style. I wore a brown birdcage veil with a copper/brown hair flower, so I wanted my jewelry to look a bit old fashioned as well. It was so much fun to wear!

The Bride's Necklace(I still need a close up of it)

Created with:
Clear rock crystal briolettes
Genuine blue topaz briolette
Swarovski crystals
Pearls

This took me a while to make, because it was all done using wire wrapping, and the design evolved as I was making it. Basically, I made two focal strands in front...the top had the three clear rock crystal fat briolette beads I had snagged at the last gem fair. The bottom strand had the gorgeous high quality blue topaz as focal. I used smoky topaz and Swarovski crystals, as well as coppery/brown pearls throughout. It is AMAZING to see--very sparkly. She wears it all the time :-)

The photos do not do this justice, I will try to post better close ups soon.

I hope you enjoy these!
