Welcome to our jewelry making community: imagine, create, share, & inspire!

Summer is supposed to be here, but here in Northern California Wine Country the weather has been frustrating. Beautiful warm days with a gentle breeze and in the 70s. Then in a couple of days its 55 and raining. At least our 'golden' hills here in Sonoma County seem to be staying a little greener, a little longer.

I want to announce that coming up on Saturday, June 19, 2010 I will be selling my handcrafted jewelry at the Cotati (CA) Jazz Festival in downtown Cotati, La Plaza Park. There will be lots of vendors with handcrafted products, services, and great food. All can be enjoyed while listening to some great jazz music. This will be my third year at the Jazz Festival, and I'm looking forward to seeing some old friends and making new ones.

I've been creating many new pieces for the event, including one piece which consists of almost 19 carats of black diamond beads highlighting a 11.5mm platinum silver south sea saltwater pearl. Wow! I've also created another necklace with 3-4mm high luster freshwater potato pearls, accentuated by a 13mm, high luster, white south sea saltwater pearl with vermeil findings and clasp.
