Welcome to our jewelry making community: imagine, create, share, & inspire!

Hi All,

I have just recently gotten into doing wirework and have been scouring the internet looking for project ideas. In this search I found a website called JewelryLessons.com This is a wonderful site that has step by step tutorials for wirework, stringing, bead weaving, metal working, polymer clay and the list goes on and on. There are also articles, book reviews, Q&A, and a gallery of designs!

What is really cool is that the tutorials are made by other artisians - some are free and some you have to pay for. In browsing through the tutorials the prices are very reasonable. I purchased several tutorials for wirework and was very happy with how clear the instructions are, that there are pictures with each step, and that there are also variations on the skill you learn at the end of the tutorial! It is free to join and if you decide not to purchase tutorials then I don't doubt you will get ideas simply by looking through the site and at the gallery of designs created by the teachers and others who use the site.

Check it out! jewelrylessons.com
