Comment by Carolyn Nau on August 10, 2011 at 11:17am this is a question. I make "beaded chains" and necklaces with a hook or clasp for wearing with a pendant called the BioElectric Shield http://www.bioelectricshield.com The ones I make for women seem to last and last, but the few I've made for men break in 4-6 months. I'm using SoftFlex 49 strand 24m wire. I haven't seen the latest broken piece, but I'm going to guess that it broke at the crimp.
Does anyone have any suggestions on other materials I can use that will still go through a normal gemstone bead? Or different ways I can finish it off to reduce stress?
