Well! I intend to add a whole section on bead weaving soon. This is an area I haven't covered, only because I lack patience in doing it myself. Until I get some stuff on here (or other members share their own patterns and ideas), here are some links!

I found this cool project on Auntie's Beads today for right angle weave earrings (video):

Bead and Button Magazine has a nice free projects section, as well.

More coming soon. Meanwhile, if you find a good pattern to share, please reply to this post and add it! Happy beading!
Hello Cindy, I took a beading class about 3 years ago, & it has since become my passion & addiction! My favorite is brick stitch, & I am on a huge bracelet kick right now. There is a great online site that sells all different types of patterns. Enjoy!

Hi Patty, thanks for the info, about beadweaving patterns. So, how long you been beading? Do you sell your work? I have been beading for about three years, but, am thinking seriously, now, about selling a few pieces over the holidays. I am going to take a class soon. Love to hear from you, anytime!
I have been thinking of adding video to my website, it's gotten pretty easy to do. Would there be any interest in free bead classes here on the site? I would love to learn bead weaving myself, so I would have to take a class before I can TEACH a class, but wouldn't that be fun? All I need now is a video camera... lol!
Lorri- I would be interested for sure! Anyone else?
Hi Cindy, yes, I do sell some of my work. Online there are two places, one is called Etsy, the other is called Yessy. My etsy site is: http://pattimacs.etsy.com
I plan to spread the word about this great site over there through their forums.

I also sell out of a gift store and a museum gift shop where I live in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Hi Cindy and Everyone! I'm here to energize this discussion! I was fortunate enough to have taken several beadweaving classes at Caravan Beads in Chicago when I lived there a few years ago. My favorite stitches are peyote, ndebele, and loomwork. I've collected several really good books on this topic: Beading on a Loom by Don Pierce, Peyote Stitch Beading Projects by Bead and Button Magazine, Beading With Peyote Stitch by Jeanette Cook and Vicki Star and Creative Beadweaving by Carol Wilcox Wells. I also found excellent instructions on a variety of beadweaving stitches in The Encyclopedia of Beading Techniques by Sara Withers and Stephanie Burnham.

Hope this helps. Alesia
Hi Cindy,

I have played around and am still in the practice/playing stage of beadweaving - I have found several easy to follow how to instructions on basic bead weaving at Fusion Beads on their Beading Techniques page - here is the link: http://www.fusionbeads.com/beadingfaq/bead_techniques.php Also there is a website called Beadwrangler Mall that focuses exclusively on bead weaving, bead crochet, etc - their are kits, design suggestions, information pages and so forth - I have also ordered beads from this site in the past and have no qualms in recommending it. Here is the link for this site: http://www.7beads.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT

I also have 3 books that I use and have found useful: 2 are from the Bead and Button Easy-Does-It-Series 1)Easy Bead Stitches: Peyote Stitch, 2)Bead Weaving Stitches and the third is a Beadwork Magazine Project Book called "Beaded Cords, Chains, Straps, and Fringe".

Hope this helps - Leigh :-)
Cindy,

I love using right angle weave. There are so many different possibilities with it. I also like to use a spiral twist. You can get a nice look using different sizes or colors of beads. Auntiesbeads.com has tutoiral videos too. I would love to learn how to do a double spiral twist. You would think that I could figure it out but so far I haven't. I'll keep trying though. I am attaching some pics of pieces I made with right angle weave and spiral twist.
